FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The word Shaktipat means the descent of the energy. It is an ancient yoga technique.

In fact, it is the highest yoga technique, or the mother of all yoga techniques known to mankind. In this, the supreme cosmic power itself is used as the technique on itself. The energy from Guru travels to the disciple seeking initiation, She awakens the energy lying dormant (as is losely believed) in the aspirant.

Shaktipat can be done by a guru using any or a combination of the 4 techniques; sight, mantra, sankalp and touch

Anyone truly desirous of attaining self realization can seek deeksha. Please note it's not meant for gaining anything materialistic in nature like; health, money,  job, relationship, etc.

Religion has nothing to do with initiation. This is pure spirituality. You may need to share which religion you belong to or follow, but that has nothing to do with initiation whatsoever.

The Guru's (Goddess Vartika's) decision is final and binding. The seeker cannot decide if he or she is a deserving candidate for deeksha.

It is absolutely free of cost.

Yes. Energy is not limited by the physical concepts of time and space. Anyone living anywhere can seek deeksha, provided he or she fits into the criteria.

You can pay via a payment link on the homepage by following the link "Donate to us". You can also pay via bank transfer, Paytm, Google pay or any other mode suitable to you.

Periodically we hold group meditation sessions online. After initiation you can be a part of that.

There are a few steps, first there will be a telephonic discussion to assess your candidature for deeksha, then a free ebook will be shared in your language (based on availability) which you'll have to read fully. After which a simple set of questions need to be answered by you and finally deeksha dates will be decided and shared with you.

Deeksha is done over 3 days. It takes approximately an hour in the first day and at least half an hour each on the other 2 days.

No, deeksha is given only in the morning time for the seeker.

Yes, kundalini does get awakened for sure. Most people experience kriyas (sensations or body movements etc) immediately but some may not feel anything right away. In both cases the energy has awakened but, because of individual karmas the experiences vary. That's all.

Mainly you should exercise complete self surrender to the guru,  have patience and perseverance. All these will help you grow faster on this path.
